The “IM” in IM Equestrian Club comes from Isabella’s initials, but its meaning reaches far beyond her name.
To Isabella, “IM” is a reminder that we each have the power to define who we are and who we are becoming.
IM Strong.

Every piece of IM Equestrian Club is rooted in that message. The brand was created to remind people to dream big, believe in themselves, and keep going — even when something feels impossible.
About
IM Equestrian Club is a female-owned, youth-inspired equestrian apparel brand built on confidence, courage, representation, and the belief that big dreams deserve to be chased.
Founded in Metro Detroit, IM Equestrian Club was created by Isabella Murray, a 13-year-old hunter/jumper equestrian from Dearborn, Michigan, whose journey in the sport has been defined by discipline and purpose. What began as a love for horses has grown into something much bigger: a brand, a message, and a movement for those who believe in standing tall, dreaming boldly, and continuing forward even when the road is difficult.
Isabella began riding at a young age and started formal jumper training in 2024. In a short time, she advanced from ponies to larger horses, began competing in A- and B-rated shows, and earned recognition as a featured rider by Dover Saddlery. Her long-term dream is to compete at the highest levels and one day represent the U.S. in equestrian at the Olympic level.
But Isabella’s story is about more than ribbons, show rings, or competition.
As a young rider who is Black, Native American, Irish, Polish, and Italian, Isabella understands the importance of representation in a sport where many riders from diverse backgrounds have historically been underrepresented. Through her journey, she hopes to help open doors, inspire other young athletes, and show that the equestrian world can belong to anyone with dedication, drive, and heart.
Meet isabella murray
Isabella Murray is a 13-year-old hunter/jumper equestrian from Dearborn, Michigan, and Co-Founder of IM Equestrian Club. After beginning formal training in 2024, Isabella advanced quickly in the sport and began competing in A-and B-rated shows throughout Michigan and beyond.
As a young rider who is Black, Native American, Irish, Polish, and Italian, Isabella understands the importance of representation in a sport where many riders from diverse backgrounds have historically been underrepresented. she is also the youngest volunteer at Detroit Horse Power, a Detroit nonprofit building the nation’s largest urban equestrian center.
